Ayman Soliman, CEO of Gemini Technologies, a company investing in various industries, including technology, banking, real-estate development and food processing. Mr. Soliman through his career, had exposure to a wide span of businesses in the fields of Mobile and FixedTelecom, Software development, Web commerce, Marine Fiber Optic Networks, Broadband, Construction and Industrial operations through his combined experience in the fields of Investment Banking and Private Equity.
Prior to joining Gemini, Mr. Soliman was the head of Orascom Telecom Holding’s Corporate Strategy team for four years where he spearheaded the formulation of Business Development Strategy. Mr. Soliman was involved in the development of the group’s business development roadmap, which yielded a number of successful acquisitions in 2005, and resulted in various attempts to acquire licenses in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Indonesia. As the Corporate Strategist Mr. Soliman played a key role in the evaluation and the formulation of the turnaround plan for Wind Telecom that was acquired by Weather Investment II.
Prior to joining OTH, Mr. Soliman was a Vice President of EFG-Hermes Private Equity, managing the Technology funds under the flagship of the group then. Before that capacity, Mr. Soliman had a career in Investment banking, where he closed numerous IPO’s and MA transactions. With a genuine interest in Technology, he worked on Equity transactions for Egypt’s leading telecom and technology conglomerates.
Finally, Mr. Soliman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a Minor in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in International Business and Finance, both from the American University in Cairo.
